We are committed to acting with integrity in all business dealings and relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure that modern slavery does not take place.

All managers and supervisors are responsible for promoting this policy and for ensuring that teams understand their obligations. Disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or contract, may be taken against anyone who breaches this policy or who fails to report suspected wrongdoing.

Our Supply Chains and Supplier Audits

Our supply chains include providers of vehicles, fuel, packing materials, storage facilities, equipment maintenance services, cleaning services, and other business support functions. We recognise that risks relating to modern slavery can arise at any stage in the supply chain, particularly where labour-intensive services are involved.

We aim to work only with suppliers who share our values and standards. Prior to entering into or renewing a contract, we assess suppliers on their labour practices, working conditions, and compliance with relevant legislation. We expect suppliers to be able to demonstrate that they have policies and procedures in place to prevent modern slavery, including clear employment terms, fair wages, and safe working environments.

We conduct proportionate supplier audits and checks, which may include requesting evidence of compliance policies, reviewing publicly available information, conducting site visits where appropriate, and asking suppliers to confirm that they require the same standards of their own subcontractors. Where areas of concern are identified, we work with suppliers to agree corrective actions and timeframes. Where significant or repeated non-compliance is found, we reserve the right to reconsider or terminate the business relationship.

Employee Awareness and Responsibility

All employees are expected to support our efforts to prevent modern slavery. We encourage staff to be alert to signs of exploitation, such as individuals who appear to be under the control of others, afraid to speak, or unable to access their own documents or wages. Induction and ongoing training materials highlight the importance of recognising and reporting concerns relating to modern slavery.

Managers are responsible for fostering a culture in which workers feel comfortable raising concerns in good faith. No employee or worker will suffer any form of retaliation for reporting suspicions of modern slavery or for refusing to participate in any activity that may amount to exploitation.

Reporting Channels and Whistleblowing

We strongly encourage anyone who encounters or suspects modern slavery in connection with our operations or supply chains to report their concerns as soon as possible. Concerns can be raised internally with a line manager, a senior manager, or a designated member of the management team responsible for compliance and ethics.

Reports may be made confidentially, and information will be handled sensitively and only shared where necessary for investigation and remedial action. We will investigate all reports promptly and thoroughly and will take appropriate action in response to any substantiated concerns, which may include notifying relevant authorities, reviewing supplier relationships, and strengthening internal controls.

Continuous Improvement and Annual Review
